A timeless amalgamation of two age-old crafts of Bandhej & Banaras weaving.

The body is intricately decorated in Jaal or Jangla with border pallu in Phool-Patti Bel & Butta designs. Jaal is a classic style of Indo-Islamic decor, used for an ornamental lattice that is built on the foundations of geometry.

This handcrafted piece is adorned with delicate pearl like bandhani dots, within the Jaal, complimenting the art of tie-dye and the legendary weaves from Banaras. Pallu accented with sparkly Mukaish embroidery.

  • This Bandhani product has been tie-dyed using the traditional technique. Since it is a handcrafted product, it might have certain irregularities that add to its unique charm and cannot be termed as defects
  • This product needs to be ironed to flatten the Bandhani knots and achieve the full length and width
  • Saree needs to be roll ironed, in order to achieve full height and neat pleats on wearing. In silks, one can opt to retain the crush effect of tie-dye, only until its first professional dry-wash
  • Dupatta need not be ironed if you desire to maintain the natural crush effect of tie-dye
