Updated COD / Cash on Delivery Policy

  • At CHAKOR, every handcrafted piece is carefully made, packed and dispatched by our team with attention to detail.
  • This small step helps ensure your genuine orders are prioritised and delivered smoothly and securely, while allowing us to continue supporting our artisans and maintain fair, transparent pricing for you.
  • to serve our genuine customers efficiently and avoid losses from fake or unclaimed COD parcels, we now require a small 10% advance UPI payment to secure and confirm all Cash on Delivery orders.
  •  Our team will reach out using the contact details provided at checkout to assist you will quick confirmation.
  • The remaining amount will have to be paid in Cash at the time of delivery.
  • We deeply value your understanding and continued support for handcrafted work and the livelihood it sustains. 
  • Please note:
    COD is now available for orders up to Rs.45,000.

  • Non-responsive Customer:
    If the customer is unreachable via phone, WhatsApp, or email for order confirmation or delivery coordination, the order may be placed on hold or cancelled after due attempts to reach them.
  • Courier Verification Policy:
    For security reasons, delivery partners are instructed to accept only the full remaining cash amount at the time of delivery. Partial payments or wallet transfers at the doorstep will not be accepted.
  • No Change in Payment Mode After Dispatch:
    Once a COD order is confirmed and dispatched, the payment mode cannot be changed to prepaid. Customers who wish to convert their COD order to prepaid must do so before dispatch.
  • Delayed Delivery:
    In rare cases where a confirmed COD parcel faces courier delay beyond the estimated delivery time, CHAKOR will stay in touch with the customer to provide updates and support. The order will not be cancelled while in active transit.
  • Advance payments are non-transferable between orders or customers.
  • For COD orders with multiple items, refusal of part of the order at delivery will be treated as cancellation of the entire order, and standard return deductions will apply.
  • Customers are requested to respond promptly to messages or calls regarding order confirmation and delivery updates to avoid delays or cancellations.
  • Final delivery attempt limit:
    In case of customer unavailability, the courier partner will make up to three delivery attempts. If they fail, the parcel will be returned to us, and applicable charges will be deducted from the advance refund.
  • Fraudulent order disclaimer:
    Placing a COD order without genuine intent to accept delivery causes avoidable loss of time and resources. CHAKOR reserves the right to restrict or block future COD orders from such accounts or addresses.

DOMESTIC

  • Shipping is free on purchases above INR 3500.
  • Shipping ( for orders under total value  INR 3500 ) within India is INR 250 / kg irrespective of the number of items bought.
  • Order will be shipped within 3-4 working days, delivery will depend upon the location and city. Unless otherwise, if other services are to be done or specifically mentioned in the product details. 
  • Delivery of all orders will be duly done to the address as mentioned by you at the time of placing the order. In case of modifications, kindly drop us a mail at chakor.info@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Processing Time:Orders are processed within 3-4 working days after full payment or advance confirmation is received.  Unless otherwise, if other services are to be done or specifically mentioned in the product details.

  • Shipping FromAll parcels are shipped from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, via trusted logistic partners through air courier.
  • Estimated Delivery After Dispatch: Metro cities: 2–3 working day
    Other regions: 3–7 working days (depending on location and courier network)
  • Tracking & UpdatesA tracking link will be shared via WhatsApp, SMS, or email once your parcel is shipped.
    Our team actively tracks each shipment until it reaches you safely, ensuring a smooth delivery experience.
  • Possible Delays: While most orders arrive within the estimated time, unforeseen courier delays, weather conditions, or regional restrictions may occasionally cause minor extensions.
    We’ll stay in touch and assist with real-time updates whenever needed.
  • Delivery AttemptsCouriers generally make two delivery attempts. Please ensure your phone number and address are correct and reachable to avoid return shipments.

  • Custom clearance charges, import duties or other charges (if applicable) has to be borne by the customer.
  • Order will be shipped within 5-6 working days, delivery will depend upon the country, location and city. Unless otherwise specifically mentioned in the product details.
