DOMESTIC ORDERS

Cancellation Policy :

  • In case there is an order cancellation, please do so before it is shipped. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the order is dispatched.
  • You can request your order cancellation through an email at chakor.info@gmail.com.

  

Return Policy :

  • All our products are handcrafted. Each piece is unique and created individually. Hence slight variations are intrinsic to the craft processes and are not considered a defect. In fact, these variations add to the beauty and charm of a handcrafted product. In spite of these variables, we follow strict quality control measures and stand by our products.

As a policy, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on products, which are delivered in perfect condition, and are as per the order placed.

  • Refunds or exchanges are provided only in the following conditions  –
  1. The order is wrongly delivered (does not match the item in the order confirmation)
  2. Has been damaged in transit.
  3. Has a genuine defect. (Please note that minor colour and design variations are not considered a defect. Since the products are handmade there may be some variation from the photographs on our website. Even though we showcase high quality images, colour representation might differ on different screens and browsers.)
  • In spite of our best efforts, if you experience any of the above, please accept our sincerest apologies. We value you as a customer and endeavor to keep your experience with us enjoyable at all times. Kindly notify us at chakor.info@gmail.com from your registered email id or inform on 9974242561 within 24 hours of delivery of the product and include the following in your correspondence –Order number, Date of transaction, Delivery address, Photograph of the product – clearly showing the defect or damage.
  • We will get back to you within 2 working days of receiving your request. Given the nature of our products, each request is handled on a case-to-case basis, and at our sole discretion.
  • If your case qualifies for a refund or a return we will intimate you accordingly & you need to send the products to the address mentioned in the email. We request the following –
  1. Please maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned
  2. Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any further loss or damage during transit.
  • After the receipt of item(s), your request for returns/exchanges would be processed.

For refunds, banks normally take 7-10 business days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end. In the case of exchanges, your new order will be dispatched to you within 3-5 business days after we receive the earlier shipment.

  • Please make a note that the products on Sale or on any kind of discount offers / codes will not be accepted otherwise mentioned above.
  • If you have to cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped. If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
  • The shipping charges for sending the products back has to be borne by the customer.
  • Once we have received the products a quality check would be done by our team.
  • The amount refunded to you would be only for the products not the shipping charges.
  •  If you do opt for a credit note, you can en-cash it later with in 90 days.
  •  We unfortunately do not have an exchange policy for international customers.

 

Exchange Policy: 

  • Raise an exchange request within 24 hours of receiving the product. Once we have it with us, we will ship the replacement product to you within 5-7 working days. You can raise your exchange request through chakor.info@gmail.com . You will receive an approval mail from us within 48 hours if the request is accepted.
  • Mention the order details & complete shipping address ( that will be provided to you ) on the packet as stated below – * Order Number and the Name used while placing the order  *  Shipping Address.
  • Please make sure that the original packing is intact  along with the original tag and invoice when the product is shipped back to us.
  • No exchange request would be accepted if the exchange request is raised after 24 hours of receiving the shipment. In case of exceptional cases please write to us at chakor.info@gmail.com.
  • You would be notified by us, once we receive your shipment.
  • Exchange will not be accepted if the saree has roll finish  /  fall and edging or tassels done to it.
  • Exchange would not be accepted if the product was customised for you.
  • If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another product of higher amount, you will have to pay the balance amount.
  • If you want to exchange your product with another product of lower amount, we would ship the new product as soon as we receive it and give you a credit note for the balance amount, which can be used later within 90 days.

 

NOTE FOR EXCHANGE

  • The items should be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons.
  • The product should have the original packaging and tags in place. Items without the original tags will not be accepted.
  • Sarees with fall and edging would not be accepted for return or exchange.
  • Customised products cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Exchange request that are not raised within 24 hours of receiving the product would not be accepted.
  • Alterations would be done only once for the blouses or customised orders, if needed. If you need any further alterations, the alteration and courier charges would have to be borne by the customer.
  • While we take the best effort to ensure that colour of the physical product that you receive is matched with the digital image on a computer / mobile screen, there will always be some variation between digital images and physical products. Therefore NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS WILL BE OFFERED on account of colour variation.
