DOMESTIC ORDERS
Updated COD / Cash on Delivery Policy
- As a handcrafted label, every piece at CHAKOR is carefully made, packed, and dispatched by our team.
- This policy has been introduced to prevent fake or unclaimed COD parcels, which result in unnecessary losses in packaging, handling, and shipping costs — directly affecting our ability to serve you efficiently.
- All Cash on Delivery orders now require a 10% advance UPI payment to confirm your order.
Our team will contact you within 24 hours of placing the order on the number provided at checkout to assist with this step. - If the advance is not completed within 48 hours of placing the order, the same may be cancelled.
- The remaining amount will be payable in cash at the time of delivery.
- This small step helps us continue supporting our artisans and maintain fair pricing for you.
- We deeply value your understanding and continued support for handcrafted work and the livelihoods it sustains.

COD is available for orders up to ₹45,000 only.

Cancellation Policy :
- If you choose to cancel your order before it has been shipped, we will refund the full amount you paid.This full-refund applies only to cancellation requested before dispatch.
- Once the order is dispatched, shipping charges are non-refundable.
- You can request your order cancellation within 24 hours of placing the order through an email atchakor.info@gmail.com or WhatsApp us on +919974242561 - along with your name, order number and order details.
Return & Refund Policy:
- All our products are handcrafted. Each piece is unique and created individually. Hence slight variations are intrinsic to the craft processes and are not considered a defect. In fact, these variations add to the beauty and charm of a handcrafted product. In spite of these variables, we follow strict quality control measures and stand by our products.
- We offer Refunds / Exchanges only in the following conditions–
- The order is wrongly delivered (does not match the item in the order confirmation)
- Has been damaged in transit.
- Has a genuine manufacturing defect.
Please note that minor colour and design variations are not considered a defect. Since the products are handmade there may be some variation from the photographs on our website. Even though we showcase high quality images, colour representation might differ on different screens and browsers.
How to Request a Return or Refund:
- If you experience any of the above issues, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery at chakor.info@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 99742 42561 from your registered contact.
- Please include: Order number, Date of transaction, Delivery address along with clear photographs of the defect or damage.
- We will respond within 2 working days. Given the nature of our products, each request is evaluated on a case-to-case basis, and at our sole discretion.
In spite of our best efforts, if you experience any of the above, please accept our sincerest apologies. We value you as a customer and endeavor to keep your experience with us enjoyable at all times.
Return Shipping & Product Condition:
- If your request qualifies, you will be asked to ship the product to the address we provide. Return shipping charges must be borne by the customer.

We request that:
- The product is returned in its original CHAKOR packaging
- Tags, invoice, and accessories remain intact
- The item is securely packed to avoid further damage in transit. - After the product is received, a quality check will be conducted, following which your refund will be processed.
Refund Processing:
- Refunds for returned items (approved after receipt of the items) will be issued after deducting:
- 3% payment processing fee of the total order value, and
- ₹250 flat shipping & handling charge (applies even if free shipping was offered to you based on your order value, for which Chakor incurs and bears initial shipping costs.) - Refunds generally take 7–10 business days after initiation.
- If you do opt for a credit note, you can en-cash it later with in 90 days.
Not Eligible for Return or Refund :
- Products on Sale or purchased with discount codes, unless damaged or incorrectly delivered
- Items with additional professional service like fall & edging, tassels, roll-pressing, or any customer-requested finishing
- Items that have been washed, altered, or used
- Returns due to change of mind, colour perception differences, or minor handmade variations
- Once we have received the products a quality check would be done by our team.
Exchange Policy:
We accept exchanges only when requested within 24 hours of delivery.
How to Request an Exchange
- Please raise an exchange request within 24 hours of receiving the product by emailing chakor.info@gmail.com or WhatsApp via +919974242561.
- Include: Your order number, Your full name, Clear photos of the product (if applicable)
- You will receive a response within 48 hours confirming whether the exchange request is approved.
Shipping the Product Back to Us
- If approved, please ship the product to the address provided by our team.
- The item must be in unused and unwashed condition.
- Original CHAKOR packaging, tags, invoice, and accessories must be intact.
- Please pack the item securely to avoid damage in transit. - Once we receive your shipment, you will be notified.Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer.
When Exchanges Are Not Accepted
Exchanges will not be accepted in the following cases:
- Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery
- Products that have been used, washed, or alteredSarees with roll-pressing, fall and edging, tassels, or any finishing done.
- Exchange would not be accepted if the product was customised for you.
- Colour variation due to screen settings.
- Items purchased during Sale or under special discount codes, unless damaged or wrongly delivered.
- If you want to exchange the product you ordered for with another product of higher amount, you will have to pay the balance amount.
- If you want to exchange your product with another product of lower amount, we would ship the new product as soon as we receive it and give you a credit note for the balance amount, which can be used later within 90 days.
Dispatch of Replacement
Once the returned product passes quality check, the replacement item will be dispatched within 3–5 working days.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Cancellation Policy :
- If you need to cancel your order, please do so before it has been shipped.
- For cancellations made before dispatch, the refund will be processed after deducting the payment gateway charges applicable for international transactions, as these fees are non-refundable to us.
- Once the order has been shipped, cancellations cannot be accepted.
Return Policy :
